'light' - light of life

from $75.00

I painted this piece in 2007. In the 'light' series of paintings, light often symbolizes hope, knowledge, and life itself. It is also an energy source, influencing processes and fostering growth. Light enables us to see colors, shapes, and textures. It creates depth and dimension, making objects appear dynamic and three-dimensional. 'Light of Life' attempts to address all of these aspects of light. The interplay between line, color and shape fosters a sense of warmth and connection. The light beckons us to itself; we are drawn to it.

'Light of Life' is a reference from John 8:12:"Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life'"
