Did you know that the color of visible light depends on its wavelength? These wavelengths range from 700 nanometers at the red end of the spectrum to 400 nanometers at the violet end. Visible light waves are the only electromagnetic waves we can see! I love playing with a broad spectrum of color and this print which I titled, ‘lavender kaleidoscope’ celebrates the full spectrum! The rich purples and blues play in beautiful harmony with the subtle greens and yellows.
