The Light Collection
The consistent thread that runs through my work is light - its reflection, its interaction with the environment, and the way it shapes how we think and feel. I’m captivated by light as it dances across the surface of water, filters through a crack, or casts a quiet shadow in its absence.
Though light itself is constant and measurable, the way it touches the world is elusive - full of motion, fleeting, and ever-changing. It’s this ephemeral quality that continues to intrigue me. I'm also drawn to the subtle shifts of color over time - how the palette of a single scene can change as the day passes.
Like a fish in water, light is the intangible medium through which we experience so much. It connects us to physical form, yet also has the power to shape our emotional response to space and atmosphere.
In this body of work, the chandelier serves as a central subject - each painting a study of how light interacts with form and space, reflecting and refracting in unique ways.
Light, for me, is more than a visual element - it’s a metaphor. A symbol of truth, revelation, and understanding. With a worldview rooted in faith, hope, and love, I aim to imbue each piece with a quiet, ethereal beauty - offering not just something to look at, but something to feel.
